About me

My full name is Juan Sebastián Vargas Torres, I am finishing my software engineering studies at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana thanks to a scholarship I received. Currently, I'm starting a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the same University, in addition, I have been working with Sekia, which is the research hotbed in Data Science and AI, also, I have founded two startups, one about a pet marketplace and the other one, about a cannabis marketplace. In addition, I have been working with JRS, which is an NGO that helps refugees, where my duty is to help in the creation of a linear optimization model that allows optimizing the distribution of resources from entities such as GIZ, the European Union, the Foreign Ministry and the PRM, also I was accepted to study AI for 3 months in the Boston College, thanks to a connection with my University. Finally, my dream is to work in the space Industry, have an investment fund, learn about quantum computing, and study at the MIT.
